Today, adorned in her traditional Ethiopian dress, Amina Terynn was dedicated at church. Surrounded by family and friends, Bob and I professed our intention to raise her in a Christian home. We were able to share a little about our adoption journey, as well as bring attention to Orphan Sunday. It was a perfect, beautiful day.
To celebrate, we offered lunch at our house to friends and family. Amina even got her own cake (since she was not with us on her first birthday)! She used one finger, to scoop off every single yellow dot on the cake, one-by-one. She LOVES icing!
